On July 3rd 2020, The Bible society Uganda has given back to over 100 blind people in Mayuge district have been given food, Soap and other items to help them survive the Covid-19 lockdown. The donation follows a public outcry that some visually impaired persons under their umbrella association of Twezimbe Lubu group of the blind were running hungry.
