The afternoon of Sunday 13th June 2021 was a wonderful moment as over 50 Youth connected with the Bible on zoom during the Annual Youth Connect that was organised by the Bible Society of Uganda Ankole Branch.

The main Speaker, Eng. Francis Musinguzi, African Regional Director, Water.org challenged the youth to view the Bible as not just a Spiritual Book, but rather a life manual that gives insight, revelation and direction.

The youth were also encouraged to engage with the Word of God for inspiration, creativity and wisdom and not to underestimate anything and said that “Nothing in this world is too small, whatever you give attention expands.”

Christians were challenged to be creative so that the glory of God shows their denominations in order to reach out to many with the Word of God.

Quoting from Napoleon Bonaparte; the youth were informed that “The Bible is a living force” and they should be willing to live and die for it were possible and ensure that they finish well regardless of the struggles they go through.

The General Secretary of the Bible Society of Uganda, Mr. Simon Peter Mukhama revealed his commitment to serve the youth and help them engage meaningfully with the Word of God and also challenged them to be faithful and live lives of integrity.

In response, the youth appreciated BSU for the wonderful opportunity to engage them with the Word of God and requested for more avenues to help them to use the Bible
regularly.
